Tee Hee - I love it!!!

The other night I was talking with my niece on the phone about our Christmas Eve dinner menu. It was time for the boys to go to bed, so she excused herself from me to get them moving in the right direction. Of course, as a ploy to avoid going to bed immediately, they both wanted to talk to Sasa. Rolland got on and just said, "Hi Sasa - I love you!"

Noah though, was a different story. He wanted to go over his Christmas list with me. I told him that my motto for this year was:

"If I can't knit it, you ain't gonna get it."

It took him a minute to catch on to what I was saying, but then he said, "OK Sasa!" He gave the phone back to his mom and I could hear him running through the house yelling "Sasa's making me something - Sasa's making me something!"

How cool is that; the almost 11 year old is excited that I am knitting him a homemade Christmas present.

I love my boys! Somehow I think they are going to turn out OK . . . .
